Why I Write
I don't think I started writing because I had something important to say.
I think I started writing because there were too many things I didn't know how to say.
Some thoughts don't leave quietly.
A conversation ends, but you replay it.
Someone leaves, but somehow they keep showing up in your head.
A moment passes, but your mind keeps asking, what if?
So I write.
Not because I understand everything.
Maybe because I don't.
I write about love because it's beautiful and confusing.
I write about overthinking because sometimes my mind can turn a five-minute conversation into a five-hour investigation.
I write stories because reality doesn't always give us the endings we want.
And I write poetry because some feelings don't need an explanation. They just need somewhere to exist.
Sometimes I start with a story.
Sometimes with a single sentence.
Sometimes with a completely unnecessary thought at 2 AM.
And somehow, it becomes something.
I don't know where this little journey will take me.
Maybe I'll write things that make you laugh.
Maybe something will make you uncomfortable.
Maybe you'll read a line and think, I've felt that too.
That's enough for me.
Because I don't want to write things that are simply read.
I want to write things that stay.
So, this is where I'll leave my thoughts.
The stories.
The poems.
The things I never said.
And all the things I haven't written yet.
Welcome.
